Also, he’s very efficient in optimized bookkeeping principles, debits, credits, taxes and closings. Sean has a passion for traveling, hiking, photographing and exploring any mountain state that has alpine lakes and waterfalls, he loves to play tennis, ping pong and beach volleyball.

Jesse Liberty

​Jason Follas has spent the better part of the past twenty years successfully writing software for clients in the manufacturing, engineering, and financial services sectors. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups, and loves the opportunity to teach as well as to learn from others. His career has been centered around the use of Microsoft technologies, from ASP.NET and SQL Server to writing Windows Store and Windows Phone applications. Most recently, he has focused on writing web client apps using HTML5 and JavaScript.

Jason was previously a Microsoft MVP for SQL, and is currently a Microsoft MVP for Visual C#. When not working or speaking, you can find him writing a number of casual games currently in the Windows Store, fishing for catfish in the local river, or riding his motorcycle across the flattest part of Ohio.

Bary Nusz

Bary Nusz, Software Architect

Falafel’s “Tinkerer-in-Chief”. Bary’s career has taken him from the oil field services industry, to LCD research, and to the DOE. He’s served as a lead researcher, designer, and programmer on numerous systems that encompassed a wide range of technologies such as ultrasonics, eddy current, and down-hole viscosity measurements — all along the way using the latest software technologies to solve complex control and data imaging challenges. With numerous patents and engineering/scientific achievement awards he finds no challenge too hard to handle. During the spring he spends time chasing down severe storms, and in the summer spends time at the lake with his family. He also enjoys competing as an epee fencer along with his son and daughter. Bary has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Rachel Hagerman

Rachel Hagerman, Senior Software Engineer

Microsoft Certified Professional Rachel finds joy in meeting challenges in her career and her life. After deciding to pursue a career in electronics, and as one of only a handful of female students in her department, Rachel graduated at the top of her class with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Two years after graduation, she was leading the software design team on a multi-million dollar testing system for the Department of Energy. Rachel has experience in circuitry design and automated test systems, but her true passion has always been for software.

Rachel loves to spend time with her husband and daughter on their Oklahoma cattle ranch enjoying horseback riding, taking photos, and making memories with her extended family.

Josh Morales

Josh Morales, Software Consultant

Telerik MVP Josh has been developing with Sitefinity since 2008, eventually earning Telerik MVP status and later an official Developer Support Specialist for Sitefinity at Telerik. His interest lie in expanding and extending the Sitefinity platform, adding new features and functionality to help end users make the most out of their website. Josh is also passionate about all flavors of .NET and develops apps for both Windows Phone and the Windows 8 store.

Music is Josh’s other passion, and in his spare time, he spins and produces electronic music under the name DJ SelArom.

Venkata Koppaka

Venkata Koppaka, Software Architect

Venkata Koppaka has over 7 years experience developing variety of line of business applications to various financial and IT organizations. Venkata has been developing with all Telerik products since 2008, he ended working for Telerik on Sitefinity team as a senior developer for Ecommerce module. He is extremely interested in developing custom solutions for Sitefinity based Ecommerce stores. Venkata is a big fan of Test Driven Development and strives himself to write code that is completely testable and modular.

Venkata has a Masters in Computer Science from Syracuse University, which drives his continuos learning addiction. In his spare time, Venkata develops apps for Windows Phone 8 platform and learns the most cutting edge technologies in software development.

When he is not spending time on computer writing software, Venkata enjoys reading about cars and watching football.

Heather Kostes, Senior Project Manager

Heather is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 15 years of experience in Project, Program and Account Management. She has a background working in various industries including finance, insurance and technology; most recently working for Microsoft in the MVP program. Throughout her career, Heather’s focus and passion have been on building strong customer relationships and delivering value to the customer via clear communication and consistent follow through.

Heather recently relocated to Silicon Valley from Seattle, WA and is enjoying exploring all that the area has to offer. Health and fitness are also a great passion of hers and Heather is a certified Pilates instructor.

Kevin Babcock

Kevin Babcock, Senior Software Engineer

Kevin Babcock began his career as an IT professional for the U.S. Air Force in the late 90s. After 9 years of service he transitioned from the armed forces to the private sector, simultaneously making the switch to software development. Kevin returned to school to finish his degree and, by the time he graduated, held several part-time jobs as a software developer and Microsoft student evangelist. It was during his time in college that Kevin fell in love with web development and .NET. After graduating, Kevin joined Telerik as a Developer Evangelist and spent the next year sharing his passion for software development at conferences and user groups around the country. Since then Kevin has developed software for companies in a variety of industries, from government (defense) to major league sports. Most recently he was the lead developer on a web-based scouting solution for Major League Baseball clubs. Kevin has a degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and is a Telerik MVP.

Kevin has two young sons. When he’s not spending time with them or writing code, he enjoys biking, fishing, and catching the occasional Aggie football game. Gig ‘em!

He has been a Microsoft MVP in ASP.NET since 2012. Keith is an active member of the developer community who speaks regularly at local and regional user groups and developer events as well as at national and international conferences. He has been featured multiple times in MSDN magazine and has authored courses for Pluralsight.

Keith has two wonderful daughters and is married to his high school sweetheart who is still way out of his league! When not slinging code, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, martial arts, soccer, running, and biking.

​Carey Payette, Senior Software Engineer

​Carey Payette has over 14 years professional IT experience in industries ranging from government, to private sector and utilities holding multiple titles throughout this time including support developer/technician, data architect, software developer, software architect and enterprise architect. Carey's an ASPInsider and was a recipient of the Microsoft MVP award in Client App Dev from 2009-2011. She also serves as the Treasurer for the US National GiveCamp organization and is a member of the Stir Trek conference organizing committee. Patrick Dunn

Patrick Dunn, Software Engineer

Patrick began his career in the U.S Navy as an Information System Security Officer. During his service he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for developing a suite of applications to improve network health and security. After four years of service he transferred to the civilian sector officially making the switch to development. He worked as a Sitefinity Developer Consultant for Telerik and has been developing using Telerik products for more than 3 years.

Patrick acquired a Bachelors in Computer Information Science during his service. In his spare time he enjoys tinkering with new technologies and studying anything that interests him.

Saad Ahmed Khan

Saad Ahmed Khan, Software Engineer

​Saad is an ASP.NET developer with 4 years of experience, and has also made a number of contributions to the Sitefinity marketplace and community. He loves to explore new code, and create innovative tools and procedures while exploring new approaches in his work with Sitefinity and MVC. Scott DePouw

Scott DePouw, Software Engineer

Scott has been working with .NET and web technologies for over five years, having developed many backend applications and front-end web sites. He's an experienced developer well-versed in many flavors of ASP.NET and SQL, C#, JavaScript/jQuery, and has even dabbled in a little CSS. He loves to solve problems, and is a major proponent of Test Driven Development. In recent years he's become very experienced with many Telerik technologies, particularly Sitefinity, and has built and maintained many sites using these tools.

Alex Dunn

Alex Dunn, Software Engineer

Sitecore Certified Alex Dunn began developing software in C# as young as 8 years old. His biggest interests lie in the growth of mobile application development as well as other new technologies. Prior to joining the industry, Alex spent time studying Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He has recently become a Certified Developer in Sitecore and is experienced in architecting large Sitecore solutions as well as modifying the Sitecore framework to work with other systems.

In his free time, Alex enjoys learning about the newest technologies, creating small and useful mobile apps, playing guitar, and playing competitive baseball.
